# I’m not sure whats wrong with my alocasia. I came home and a leaf…

I’m not sure whats wrong with my alocasia. I came home and a leaf broke off at the base of the leaf. She hasn’t sprouted any new leaves in 2 months but has lost about 3. However the existing leaves always look healthy, stem is firm and the roots look pretty good. Does anyone know what’s going on 😭😭😭

Your plants look really healthy so anything I could suggest you would probably already know. Are you using a fertilizer? Do you think it might benefit from a grow light?

I agree with Tracy. Your plants look very healthy. Probably just going dormant.

I have one as well, and I keep a humidifier near her and don’t really spray leaves, but I do use a grow light 12 hours a day and she’s quite happy as you can see
