My red nerve plant apparently wants to give up on life all of… _MamaDes님이 2025-12-12에 게시함_ Hello! My red nerve plant apparently wants to give up on life all of the sudden. It has been doing really well up until about 2 weeks ago. The leaves got really soft and wrinkled up i figured it needed some water and extra light since it hasnt been getting as much with the winter and all. So i watered her and put her under a light for the past week and some leaves have come back but as you can see the rest are dead lol. I checked the roots and dont see any rot. I would assume its pretty low just because we have had the heat running consistently these past few weeks. Could that be it? #### Nan님이 2025-12-13에 답변했습니다. My humidity sits around 34 (hard to bring it high in the Canadian winter). To me it looks like a humidity issue, you could get a humidity thermometer and maybe a humidifier to help. It will also benefit the other plants within the home. I also mist mine every three days, I water when the pot feels light as well. My first 3 tries with the red nerve plant were ROUGH. Misting with a spray bottle or a humidifier are great!! Personally my problem was hydrophobic soil. If your soil is hard and clumped together it may have turned hydrophobic. Bottom watering, and better soil saved my current plant.
