Hello, new to the community… need help with my Madagascar plant… I had this for a few years now and it’s growing well. Lately I see leaves yellowing and at the top it is growing new leaves… what should I do? Thanks in advance for your help!

The most likely reasons for a Madagascar palm losing leaves are not enough water, cold temperatures, and transplant shock. In its original habitat, Madagascar palms shed leaves during the colder and drier season and regain them with higher humidity and warmth.

thanks Bud I’ll try to water more than usual and see if I can move it back inside… here in SC it has been cold on mornings but gets hot in the afternoon where there is more sun on where it is…
