# Hey all.⊹₊⟡⋆ I had just bought this cebu blue pothos a few days ago…

Hey all.⊹₊⟡⋆ I had just bought this cebu blue pothos a few days ago and she looks kinda rough. I still bought her cuz I haven’t see any in the shops near me. Any helpful tips for success would be greatly appreciated. I notice it’s a little bare on top so I’m curious if cutting her up and propogating to make it more full is a good idea. And a lot of leaves have black/dark spots on them. Thank you \*:･ﾟ✧\*:･ﾟ✧

Ooo pretty! Yes I’d recommend cutting and propping only the healthy looking leaves/nodes. I’d treat them with hydrogen peroxide/water mix for a few minutes before just putting into normal water for propping. The black dark spots are usually due to overwatering from the store and root rot setting in

Looks overwatered. Check the roots for rot. Look for soft mushy and smelly roots. Rinse the roots with peroxide to kill bacteria. Replace with well draining soil containing lots of perlite or similar aggregate to increase drainage.

Let the soil dry out between waterings. The leaves will look limp when it needs water. 🍀🪴
