I successfully got my Christmas cactus to bud in the spring/summer by limiting sunlight hours and water. Do I need to wait until it blooms fully before I let it stay for regular daylight hours? Do I need to wait until all the buds grow and bloom? Or can I go ahead and start leaving it out and watering regularly again?

You can let it go back to normal hours now. The hormonal cycle has been triggered so it’ll flower even if the conditions go back to normal
