Some damage looks mechanical only but other parts look suspiciously thrip-y….I’d just spray it down in the shower or outside really well just in case, then get a pesticide spray from arber or captain jacks and have it on hand in case you notice the damage spreading

Which kind do u prefer as in pesticide spray? I pray she doesn’t have bugs. I have these sticky things in all my plants just in case and I haven’t see any yet? But now i am looking closely. Ty any other advice if u have any would help. Ty

I’d go with Arber but that’s all I’ve tried, I’ve heard that captain jacks is good though too! Hmmm yeah thrips don’t really wander off of plants though, they like to stay on the leaves and lay their eggs in the leaves. But if you see any more brown/white long lines within the leaves, literally looks like skid marks, then that’s thrips.

Photos of the entire plant? It’s hard to tell without seeing the full plant.

I cut off the brown spots cause it wasn’t a lot so i will see if i get any more. I can’t see or find any bugs and all

The remaining leaves looks fine. Low humidity can also cause dry edges and spots. But, the remaining leaves don’t show this. The areas with the long scratches does look like mechanical damage as Alyssa pointed out. Keep watching. Check humidity in the room if spots show up.🍀🪴
