Looks more like a new root

It is thicker and green

Correct. A new leaf would have a point and you’d be able to see the beginning of the edges of the leaf. That little nub will start to turn brown as it gets bigger and you can also start training it to grow into the moss pole the longer it gets

These are the ones it usually puts out

It does look a little like a new growth point, but ya time will tell as it grows more.

Can you take a photo closeup of it and showing where exactly it’s protruding?

#### Yup replied on 2025-11-05

It has grown a lot since this morning

Here are some pics I found online of new growth points sprouting on white wizards. I agree the pics you showed do look somewhat different from new aerial roots, but I also don’t see the little “sheaths” that are characteristic of a new growth point like in the pics here.

It's between where the leaf was

### Yup commented on 2025-11-05

Could it be flowering

#### Jcook replied on 2025-11-05

It’s really hard to get a white wizard to flower indoors, so I don’t think it’s this.
