For me they’re hard, but there are plenty of people that do great things with them. They are BEAUTIFUL! I’ve kept a Cracklin’ Rosie alive since late summer/early fall. It’s lulling me into believing I should buy another! 🤣

i LOVE begonias!! theyre my newfound love, i was really scared of owning one for years and now i have two!
i live in a really humid, coastal environment which they seem to like. i have them near a west facing window and i occasionally turn on a grow light for them. i find their watering schedules to be similar to pothos, but they want a lot of moisture in the air

I have had begonias for years in my summer planters, obviously in the shade. They are nothing special; I just buy a small pot from the summer plants in the nursery or big lot store and plant it. No special care, maybe a little bit of fertilizer, and I don’t live in a humid area. Now that I know people have a hard time growing them, I won’t be so lucky! But they sure are pretty and seem to flower pretty profusely. I will plant some more this year.🌺🌺
