# Hi I just got this. Never Never plant the leaves are starting to turn…

Hi I just got this. Never Never plant the leaves are starting to turn brown and crispy. I got another set that was propagating with good roots, but they all turned yellow and dried out. Any advice will help greatly Thank you.

Hi Michelle, They love and need high humidity and like many Calathea, they enjoy moist but not soggy soil. I keep mine in a room where it’s 60% plus humidity. And I still have a couple of crispy leaf tips due to my letting it get too dry during my busy week. Hope this helps and happy growing.

I do have a small humidifier about 5 feet away, maybe I’ll move it closer
