# Super quickly (not much time!) I have plants in a little shelter…

Super quickly (not much time!) I have plants in a little shelter outside and we are about to have a flash freeze: from 12°C high today to -11°C overnight. They have withstood temps that low throughout the winter, but given such a quick transition, do I need to bring them inside??? (It’s now 1° so we are halfway there 🥶)

Yikes! What kind of plants in general? My first thought was a space heater, but that’s probably not safe if it’s not being supervised 🤔 Tarp? Blankets? Are there any you can bring inside? It’s okay if they don’t get light for a day or two

Snowberry plants and a columbine - it’s one of those pop up shelters (basically a tarp on some poles) so not really too great for temperature protection!

Oh - it isn’t actually a tarp! It really is a structure - I just meant the walls aren’t made of anything solid.
