# My jade was doing great and looking beautiful and now it started…

My jade was doing great and looking beautiful and now it started losing these leaves why any advice? thank you

Drop those on top of a bed of soil and they will likely sprout new plants!

I don’t know why the leaves are dropping, I would need to see the plant itself. Mine drop leaves occasionally and I just let them sprout and grow a new plant.

Then leaves are beautiful \& healthy looking….so I’m guessing the mother plant is healthy.

I don’t know why it would be dropping leaves (they look healthy to me) but I second the people saying you can propagate these so don’t throw them away! Fill a saucer with succulent soil mix and nestle the leaves in there once they’ve calloused, after a few weeks you should hopefully have some roots and you can pop them back in the pot with their mother plant.
