# Okay y’all… SOS here! I was gifted this plant for my birthday…

Okay y’all… SOS here!

I was gifted this plant for my birthday tomorrow (I’m pretty certain it is just a common ivy, correct me if I’m wrong!!) but the last ivy I had did not go well and I murdered it💀. Granted, this was when I first started my plant journey, but I CANNOT kill this one with it being a birthday gift.

Any advice or recommendations?? I did repot it into a clear pot as the soil was SOAKED when I got it.

I just leave mine alone and set near a window. I only water when half soil is dry I also cut mine down when it gets really tall
