Sad to say my elephant ear died. The powdery mildew combined with the shock of the cold snap just put too much stress on her, I think.

In brighter news, I got a new plant today. An orchid! I’m taking name suggestions!

I too am sorry to hear about your elephant ear plant. I've been really tempted to get one of those recently. Congrats on the orchid, I love orchids and have 6 of them. When naming, you might want to consider that it's probably actually a white orchid that's been dyed blue, so any new flower spikes will likely produce white flowers. She is still beautiful though 😍 I called my white mini orchid "Luna"

Thank you, I was devastated, we’d gone through a lot together! I know she’s not suffering anymore, at least.

I believe that the orchid is died blue. The next bloom will probably be white. Enjoy the blue blooms while you can!
