# Good morning! New to Planta and plants in general. Adopted plants…

Good morning! New to Planta and plants in general. Adopted plants from someone moving and until now only watered. I am purchasing fertilizer on this app to avoid guessing. Question- do I need all of the products, or do I start with one or 2 to get my feet wet? Do  
They all work together?

I haven’t tried the Planta fertilizers. My fertilizer routine is simple because my plants are similar and I have used most of them for decades. I use the products shown. I would add an acidic fertilizer if I had plants that thrive in acidic soil like roses, azaleas, rhododendrons and conifers. Miracle-Gro has been around for decades. It works for me. The orchid spray is for misting leaves. SuperThrive is a plant vitamin. Osmocote is timed release fertilizer beads that won’t cause fertilizer burn. It lasts from 6 to 8 months. Find a fertilizer that has lots of reviews and history. There are hundreds of varieties. Several are just the same solution with different varieties on the labels.
