# We found a kitten in October! We fell in love of course after having…

We found a kitten in October! We fell in love of course after having time with him and my other babies liking him! He has ripped leafs of my plants, taken plants completely out of the pot and has eaten the roots as well. Yea the roots yall. So I’ve had to gift and throw away some of my favorite plants in fear that he will destroy them…. Any recommendations for wall shelf’s that won’t rot or mold from having a humidifier on it and plants as well? Also okay with a glass cabinet that won’t mold and won’t break the bank? Thanks in advance!!!!

My cat is Theodore, too! Good luck. I have to leave some plants in the bedroom with the door shut because of this Theo! Have fun🪴and yes, your Theo is so pretty!

There are excellent DIY ikea cabinet nurseries. I got one for $50 and the extra money to put into it plus lights is like $100

I have no idea if this will help but I have my creeping fig plant that I bought at a farmers market and she’s in a glass enclosure and she’s been thriving! She need medium to bright indirect light. Hope that helps for new plant suggestions!!

I found a plant cabinet already made on Facebook marketplace. Theadore is very cute ☺️

Yes ikea is a very good place to get a nice looking cabinet

I have glass shelves for many of my plants. Glass is unbothered by moisture \& allows light to pass through for plants below. ☀️
