# My night blooming Jasmine is looking a little unhappy. I put her out…

_Opslået af Wanda’s Weeds den 2025-10-20_

My night blooming Jasmine is looking a little unhappy. I put her out on the balcony to get some morning sun and it doesn’t seem to be helping she is in a good pot with drainage, clean soil, has been watered and was looking real good for a few days. Now I don’t know what to do to make her happy. Any clue??

It’s hard to see the condition of the leaves and soil from the photo. They thrive in full sunlight or partial shade. Moving a plant to a new location with different lighting causes stress on top of the issue it already has. It takes time (weeks) to acclimate. I can’t say much more without seeing the plant in better lighting with no blurs. 🪴🍀

I was told that it is too young to handle full sun (by the seller), so right now I have her on my balcony with morning sun and afternoon full filtered sun.

Morning sun and afternoon shade is good. I grew one in a similar lighting location in intense South Texas (zone 9, 100°F) summer heat. The issue maybe elsewhere. Some plants are sensitive to tap water if water is hard in your area or the plant is sensitive to chlorine. Also, fertilize at least once a month in the growing season. Additionally, check the root’s health and check for pests in the soil. 🪴🍀
