# help!! this is my pink eye verbena, i bought it yesterday and…

help!! this is my pink eye verbena, i bought it yesterday and repotted and watered it once. Now tonight it looks like this :( my balcony is partial sunlight, mostly the sun shines bright on my plants during sunrise and the rest of the day is fairly shaded but still sunny. How do i fix it? can’t tell if its from under watering or over watering??

It doesn’t look sunburnt. It looks dry. Try watering it again by bottom watering. The clay pot could have soaked up the previous water.

It could also be from repotting too soon. Plants need a couple of weeks to adjust to a new environment with changes in lighting, watering frequency, water hardness, humidity and fertilizer. Plus, repotting disturbs and damages roots affecting water intake. 🪴🍀

Agree about the repotting. You stressed out the plant and then plunked it back in full sun. Water again, put it in the shade for a bit, let it adjust and bounce back.
