I find it very easy to care for and so dramatic looking! #### Liyah replied on 2026-07-29 wow that is certainly beautiful! Do you have one yourself? Ive only had house plants for a few months now i’m at 20+. It’s hard to decide what’s worth the space next 😂. #### Harvey replied on 2026-07-29 I do have one! He’s one of my favorites! I definitely get having to pick and choose, they’ve taken over my desk. #### Saffy replied on 2026-09-05 I second this! It’s an amazing plant! Has been so easy to grown for me, easy to propagate. It give me a lot of joy🥰 I got mine as a tiny cutting around 2 years ago. I also recommend peperomia caperata, mine looks almost grey on top and red underneath the leaves. It also has the long spindly looking ‘flowers’ Wich makes it look so alien, love it! ![Attachment 1 of 4](https://images.getplanta.com/v1/resize/GKvmrbASsDEGkf2NPTXtTnsiPsoZZflMyYc6rkE4EVk/MTvcN_heS4G_VP9t_K6iYA.webp?size=large) ![Attachment 2 of 4](https://images.getplanta.com/v1/resize/GKvmrbASsDEGkf2NPTXtTnsiPsoZZflMyYc6rkE4EVk/KjNnL13iR3WnQzX6R2bAzA.webp?size=large) ![Attachment 3 of 4](https://images.getplanta.com/v1/resize/GKvmrbASsDEGkf2NPTXtTnsiPsoZZflMyYc6rkE4EVk/2XKC-5hiQ2iQtGRNVsceEg.webp?size=large) ![Attachment 4 of 4](https://images.getplanta.com/v1/resize/GKvmrbASsDEGkf2NPTXtTnsiPsoZZflMyYc6rkE4EVk/lR6dbd45QYeQZiyUoPlo1w.webp?size=large) ### JR commented on 2026-07-29 Rex begonia black mamba ![Attachment 1 of 1](https://images.getplanta.com/v1/resize/tqz4EBDAvg8yEMwduoUZK1E9eWZadl-WaWJ0AB72hxk/5YKoHwgpR56mVECTw0NmYQ.webp?size=large) #### JR replied on 2026-07-29 She’s not very full yet. #### Liyah replied on 2026-07-29 wow so freaking cool! Raven ZZ - new shoots are highlighter green and darken to a near black. Tephrocactus Geometrics - has really unusual ball shaped segments with (sometimes) black spikes. Air Plants - Spanish moss has a particularly goth feel to me. While Xerographica is more of a girly plant (to me at least) because it grows in a pretty rosette shape. Primulina Pretty Turtle - my favorite girly plant, with pretty purple flowers and sliver accents on fuzzy leaves! Holiday Cactus - Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas all have super pretty \& colorful flowers, they are my second favorite girly plants. ### Tay commented on 2026-07-30 Also check out the book The Goth Garden ![Attachment 1 of 4](https://images.getplanta.com/v1/resize/wQvi0FkSldfAZFihXBKL_hzz7Ha1S38Si8RH1nZMbzw/Ofupey2sR1WnOj6IAve0WA.webp?size=large) ![Attachment 2 of 4](https://images.getplanta.com/v1/resize/wQvi0FkSldfAZFihXBKL_hzz7Ha1S38Si8RH1nZMbzw/ft-MmyW5TYyiy0jaismfrA.webp?size=large) ![Attachment 3 of 4](https://images.getplanta.com/v1/resize/wQvi0FkSldfAZFihXBKL_hzz7Ha1S38Si8RH1nZMbzw/CmZQ7VN8SASOPYwrJQia3A.webp?size=large) ![Attachment 4 of 4](https://images.getplanta.com/v1/resize/wQvi0FkSldfAZFihXBKL_hzz7Ha1S38Si8RH1nZMbzw/Ip3Pht7jRUeObrET-Ak3oA.webp?size=large) ### Sophia 🌿🌺 commented on 2026-07-30 def a begonia ferox! you'll love her ✨ ![Attachment 1 of 1](https://images.getplanta.com/v1/resize/S4YsNoDzkBeX7buykdYJsQmRtPyZTOqqGkLZMaJdzI8/O8BBFadTTiugXoaljZ-lJQ.webp?size=large) #### Trisha replied on 2026-07-30 So beautiful.
