# Looking for a bit of guidance with this plant. I inherited it from a…

Looking for a bit of guidance with this plant.

I inherited it from a deceased family member and don’t confidently know what it is. I’ve been thinking Heart-Leafed Philodendron, but I’m not confident.

Anybody feeling more confident about its identity?  
Anybody know what it wants? I’m not making it happy 🙁

The veins of the leaf actually make me think it’s an Anthurium but I’m not sure which one, not my specialty.

The leaf shape definitely looks similar but it’s never looked waxy, even when it’s been healthier.  
The Planta identifier agrees with you (Flamingo Lily specifically) but I felt the lack of waxiness meant it couldn’t be.

Some anthuriums do not have that texture. It might be a flamingo but honestly I don’t think it is. It reminds me of an Anthurium Papillilaminum but I also don’t think that’s it either.

I think someone on here might be able to identify it though

Also called a flamingo flower I believe.
