It looks so happy! What kind of plant is it and what did you do? Newby here \& I’m trying to learn 🤓

Thank you so much! This is an Aglaenoma ‘Red Gold’.

First, I cut the plant. Which I was scared to do but followed the directions of a seasoned plant owner. I did a soil change because I suspect the original potting mix wasn’t great. I started to fertilize every 6 weeks, which I wasn’t doing at all. Lastly I bought a grow light because my plant wasn’t getting enough light in my bedroom.

I could’ve moved it to a sunnier room, but my bedroom is pink themed so I really wanted it in there since it matches my room lol.
