I keep seeing people not know that they’re overwatering their plants because they’re following the schedule even though their plants are still wet. And I understand, it literally tells you to do it…but don’t. Every plant is different. Some like to be damp most of the time, some like to almost dry out, some like to completely dry out, etc. Also your home environment and substrate can cause your plant to dry out slower or faster than others. I wish it was as simple as following an app’s schedule, but in \*most\* cases it is not. My Thai constellation got such bad root rot when I first started using the app so now I use the watering advice just as a reminder to check on my plants soil and usually use the snooze button a couple of times before they actually need to be watered, still love the app though!! ### Ida님이 2025-05-12에 댓글을 남겼어요. We totally agree that every plant is different which is why we use around 30 parameters to try to get as close to each plants need as possible, but we still do recommend that you check the soil before watering and snooze if needed (maybe we can make this even clearer in the instructions as well) 😃. Would also like to recommend to make sure that all settings are filled in for each plant, as that allows us to better tailor the schedule to their needs 🪴 . Yes this really is a wonderful app and it has greatly improved since I started using it, so absolutely no shade. I think y’all are doing everything you can, and adjusting the schedule when we snooze is a great tool too! Plant care takes some trial and error in the beginning, I just feel bad when people don’t realize their plant may not need water yet when they’re following a schedule.
