# Can anyone tell me what’s wrong with my philodendron? Is been fine,…

Can anyone tell me what’s wrong with my philodendron? Is been fine, until I looked at it tonight, and it had a big spot on the end of its only pure yellow leaf. It’s not overwater, because I don’t water it until it is bone dry. I also have black spot in the house, and it has undergone three sprays of neem oil. TIA for any comments…🤗💚🪴

It might be a humidity problem or it might be due to the leaf’s lack of photosynthesis capability.

I don’t think it’s a humidity issue, because I have a large humidifier within 12 feet of that plant table; it stays close to 60% all of the time. I have heard that white leaves have problems with photosynthesis, but other than that, I know very little about this area. TIA for any info you might have regarding photosynthesis issues… 🤗💚🪴

It could be rotting from being too wet.

I have had this pop up on my jungle boogie when it gets too much water but inconsistently. Let it dry out and see if the plant heals that up. If it continues to spread and rot, something larger is afoot
