# I’ve had this little airplant for a few years now and just realized…

I’ve had this little airplant for a few years now and just realized that I don’t water it the way I’m supposed to. I just run him under the sink tap and then shake him off and stick it back in the window once a week. Its growing nicely so I’m afraid to change my ways. I also never fertilize or mist it. Any opinions?

I soak mine for 10-15 minutes in a container of water, about once every two weeks! Hope this helps!

I soak mine once a week in filtered water between 20 - 60 min. I do tip them upside down for awhile before placing them back. I've had them for almost three years. I've never fertilized mine either. Your's look good. Everyone's tap water is different, so it must not be harming. I think if it's working, don't change.
