Hey guys!!

Was wondering if anyone could recommend certain brands/types of soil for me to use? I definitely mix things together but was curious of what the best options are!!

P.S. if you look at my plants they seem neglected… I haven’t updated the app in a while!!😅

FoxFarms is my go to!

I use Rosy Soil and my plants seem to really like it. It’s a bit on the expensive side, but well worth it in my opinion. It has worm castings and mycorrhizae which help a lot with growth and nutrients.

I use pro mix for potting soil. For orchids, I usually use the basic miraclegro bark, sphagnum (never paid attention to the brand), and sometimes mount to rock, driftwood, or cork (pet shops that do aquariums and reptiles stock those). I've heard orchiata bark mixes are good. For semi-hydro, you want heavier leca that won't float when you water it.
