# So I’m very new to gardening and I just bought this cat palm on…

So I’m very new to gardening and I just bought this cat palm on Sunday and I’m just a tad concerned with the left side branches drooping. Also is it normal for palms to have a semi yellow trunk? Just not sure if this plant is under watered or overwatered. Please help I really don’t want this tree to die on me.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the trunk being yellow, so as long as the leaves are green don’t freak out! Don’t worry about the “drooping” leaves either, it’s also natural for them to spread (I don’t know where the light is but it could be phototropism, just try rotating it if you can.)
