rot! get it out of that pot — rinse all soil out of the roots and give them a dunk in a solution of hydrogen peroxide. alocasia does best in a 1:1 mix of peat and perlite with a handful of organic matter (fine bark, potting soil, etc) this promotes good moisture retention, but won’t stay wet, which is causing the rot

cut away any rotted roots — black and mushy. alocasia roots are pretty fine so the dead stuff will likely fall away easily

Thank you!! I have two big windows and a grow light! It’s about 4ft from the window.
