# Any tips for leaving plants for a few days? I live in a small…

Any tips for leaving plants for a few days? I live in a small apartment in a small apartment complex with one only window. The rule is that we aren’t allowed to have electricity running if we are not home so I’m going to try and get all my plants around the one window with the more larger/more dark tolerant plants in the back and small/more light needing plants up front. Thankfully this is a cooler weekend and my apartment is very well insulated so the goal will be to get the apartment as cold as possible while I am here and then hope that it stays cool while I am gone. Any things else besides a through water for the plants that need it? I will only be gone for four days but this is the time I will be leaving my plants in a situation that isn’t fully ideal so trying to make sure I’ve covered all my bases.

Omg no I am too! Which is why I know if you water them and give them as much light as they can, they will be fine! I have left mine more than once and only one time did one try and die on me. And it was a diefenbachia so I don’t even care LMAO

So light situation ignore the dramatic waffle plant flopped over on the right side I need to repot it and it the base farther down into the soil maybe add a stake to give it some more support. It’s almost 9am on a cloudy today this morning not sure exactly which direction this is facing.

I would say your plants will probably be fine for four days, but sometimes there’s that one plant with the really thin leaves that just keels over if you don’t water it every ten minutes—maybe move that one to a bathroom. More humidity and less light = less need for water. Or let a friend take care of it if that works.

I went away for four days and when I came back my jasmine was crisped! I slashed it back and I’m hoping it just regrows.
