i think it’s just old leaves dying off i’d trim it

picture is not enough info. what direction does that window face? how often do you water and fertilize? do you know what humidity your house sits at?

I hear a lot of “my alocasia was dramatic and dropped a leaf right before putting a new one out”. That’s probably the case and it’s draining nutrients from that leaf to start a bigger one. Let it fully discolor to when the yellow starts to brown unless it starts rotting on the petiole. It’s probably just doing what most of them do

I have always had a hard time with Alocasia as they are prone to spider mites. I would cut that yellowing leaf off and check the plant for pests.
