# Good morning Planty people’s!🪴🪴 I bought a ZZ on clearance at…

Good morning Planty people’s!🪴🪴  
I bought a ZZ on clearance at Walmart. It was a sad little fella, as dry as could be. I watered it, cleaned the leaves and gave it indirect sun. In just a few days I’ve seen growth, new leaves pushing them selves out.  
The thing I’m concerned with, it’s in a self watering pot. Whenever I push a finger in its moist, doesn’t ZZ plant like to dry out a bit?  
Should this be in a different pot, or leave it alone?

I would put this in terra cotta. Zz wants to go dryyyyy dry dry and rely on its rhizomes a bit before getting more water

I got the pots. I got two for one because they are stuck tight! Now to get them apart without breaking.
