Meet: Apollo, my Monstera Adansonii. I hope he survives the cloning - and the kids.

We're supposed to be propagating plantlets from cuttings today! I don't believe any of the kids have done it, but I picked an easier plant (Apollo). I'm really excited for today, and so are the kids considering I started the conversation with "have you guys ever cloned a plant before?" I hope this helps them be kinder to creatures because we'll have to be regularly taking care of the cuttings for the plantlets to grow (making sure they're getting the right sun, temperature, changing water regularly etc.). I told them they're going to have to be responsible and kind to Apollo as well as kind to the cuttings because if you hurt them or stop caring for them, they can't grow. I told them "it's like a pet, but they don't poop in the house" lmao

P.S. he's called that because he's holey
