# Hi guys! I need some names for my new babies! I really like relating…

Hi guys! I need some names for my new babies! I really like relating my plants name to the actual plant. For example, my “elephant ear” alocasia is named Dumbo and my money tree is name Penny. But for these two I can’t think of anything \& I need help!!

Wish I could think of cool names like you did with Dumbo/Penny. All mine are boy names 😂

Thanks! Since she’s a Chinese money plant I wanted to relate her name to my money tree but the only thing I can think of is “coin” and I don’t like that

How about Yen? Isn’t that the name of Chinese money? Just an idea.

That’s such a good idea but according to google “yen” is the name for Japanese currency. Thank you for the comment though!!

“Yuan” is the Chinese equivalent of Yen. The first currency dated in China was during the Shang Dynasty-so maybe “Shang”?

i like lulu and uhhh yun  
or smthg mulan works? chinese money plant or mulan and mushu?

If I ever have a money plant, I’d name it Mushu.  
Maybe I want to get a money plant just so I can name it Mushu😂
