So I need to repot both of my plants one being a “ananas comosus” and the other I have tagged in this post. Is there any type of soil that I should use specifically for these and anything I should look out for when repotting them?

A pineapple plant? And a type of snake plant.. both would do well in a cactus/succulent mix. Only water when they’re dry and water thoroughly.
