I have a whole team of LOTR characters going on. 😂 Bilbo, Frodo, Galadriel, Gandalf, Legolas, Gimli, etc. I love a good naming theme!! ♥️ And naming them only makes me more affectionate for them.

So I’m the only one who’s giving my plants human names …..Sydney, Symphony, Destini Jane, KaTreena (the Cat Palm), Monty (the monstera), Zoey, Sunny, Jaxson (after my ex, and btw it’s a slowly dying majesty palm) Mahogany, Princess, CeeCee, Aurora, Consuelo, Amilli, and Carla

My lemon tree is Citrina and my monstera is Scar from The Lion King because of his fenestration.

This is a Suzi Wong fern, who was both a tailor for elite boxers and the chef who created one of my favorite dishes (involving an egg roll) at a local joint

My partner saw my Thai lipstick plant and said "fake-assed plant" because it doesn't even look real 😂 I also have an alocasia called "Jurassic Park-lookin mf" because of him

I have a hoya named "tiny sad monarch" that I thought would die, so I bought a replacement and named it "putative usurper"
