# I’m looking for some advice for my zebra plant. The leaves were…

I’m looking for some advice for my zebra plant. The leaves were turning brown so I moved it away from the window and put it under a grow light. I have the light up pretty far and on the lowest setting. The leaves are still turning brown. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

Looks like a lack of humidity rather than too much light

A couple ways to increase humidity:  
• Pebble tray with water under the nursery pot  
• Misting, but doing so without airflow can cause fungal issues  
• Putting it next to other plants since they’ll all increase the humidity in the area

Sadly, the brown leaves will never go back to normal though. You can trim them off if you want to, but I wouldn’t remove more than a couple leaves at a time so you don’t shock the plant
