Childhood cartoons, muppets or Sesame Street, cereals or any tv show that made you happy as a kid. For Alocasia’s I pick names of dragons 🐉 from movies and tv shows. I name some of my plants after friends. ☘️ Good luck

Names of your favorite characters in movies /tv shows

Or names that play off the plants name
I.e. my aloe Vera is named Vera.
My marble queen is Queen Elizabeth (Elizabeth is also a family name)

I’ve mostly gone for names that are similar sounding or similar spelling of the actual plant name. Makes it easier for me to remember what type of plant they are.
Although I’ve got a purple orchid that my godson (Thomas) brought me for Easter that I’ve called Thomassina!

what they’re flowers or leaves look like so if a plant has pink leaves, you could name it something like pinky pie! You could also come up with super weird names like i called one of my aloe vera plants melvin
