Hey! I’ve been caring for my plants for about 2 years now and I’ve never used any fertiliser or plant food. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations that are good for all plants? Thanks:)

the Grow Co organic liquid fertilizer for indoor plants smells really bad out of the bottle but has been great for all my leafy plants. I do recommend a different fertilizer for succulents, but Grow Co has a good one for that, too

can’t go wrong with fox farm formulas either — i use “big blooms” for my blooming plants

I like fertilizer sticks that you change every couple months and I also use water soluble fertilizer as well in my semi-hydro plants . I use basic miracle grow products :)

I was originally thinking of something to add into the water but fertilizer sticks sound good so I’ll definitely look into those! thank you:)

Fertilizers are awesome, now it depends on what you are looking to fertilize. Everyone will have their own preference but in certain circumstances depending on area will yield a better result by type of fertilizer. So are you indoor, outdoor.. perennial, shrub, houseplant, those would take into account of what would be more ideal for you. For overall example would be a combo granular like Osmocote Indoor \& Outdoor. If it’s mainly indoor probably a soluble solution is best. Which there’s a lot of options. If you can specify what you are looking to use it for I can guide you what type of fertilizer would be best for your application.

I only have indoor plants which consists of string of hearts, pothos, monstera, leopard lily, philodendron, dracaena and a syngonium. I just wanted something versatile that I could use for all or most of them:)

I only use Shultz, one kind for my houseplants and the other for my succulents/cacti. I’ve always had healthy plants from just using this every time I water. I bought Liquid Dirt but haven’t had to use it. Also, it’s inexpensive.
