Hey everyone. I’m in Canada and obviously my plants are indoors and it’s winter. My question is this, are you meant to fertilize your house plants during the winter months? Thank you!

I fully agree with PlantyAnn. I fertilize with diluted (1/2 strength) liquid fertilizer once a month in colder months. I also have grow lights on up to 10 hours a day in darker rooms. My plants grow slower in colder weather. But, they still grow.

I do with diluted fertilizer and a lot less frequently. They can also handle more if they are still actively growing. Grow lights and humidity helps keep them from going dormant
