Can you plant crocus stavius in the winter time indoor?
I’m planning on having a set up in the garage with lights and and stuff and moving it inside during summer. Would this be a smart idea I live in Texas.

You can grow bulbs indoors. Crocus, like a lot of bulbs need a period of stratification, which is why they are usually planted in Fall, they go through the cold stratification and bloom in spring. So planting them indoors in winter shouldn't matter much. Youll just need to still mimic the stratification

What would be the best strategy

You'd want to find out what it needs temp wise, then try to meet that. Like when I planted plum seeds for a friend, they can handle mid 30s, so I did the stratification in my fridge for several months. If your garage is in range, you could do it there.

How do you know so much about plants!! I’ve noticed you seem very skilled.

Haha thank you. I just like plants, and can get hyper fixated learning something new, or trouble shooting. Currently teaching myself cloning and tissue culture, it's really fascinating that you can take 1 node off a, say philodendron, and ended up with 100+ plantlets
