# Hi! I have this string of bananas/fishhooks and it’s been growing…

Hi! I have this string of bananas/fishhooks and it’s been growing great, when all the sudden i notice one of its trails has died at the start. Super soft and soggy feeling, and just wanted to make sure this isn’t cause for overlying concern/if i should pull it or let it stay. New growth is starting to the right of it so i think the plant is still healthy. I can’t lose this plant she’s too pretty 😍

check for any brown/black spots, because that could mean root rot. “soft and soggy” sounds like overwatering to me. if you dont see any spots right now, just keep an eye on it, and if you do check its roots for any rot!
