Looking to ask the experts as I’m a new alocasia parent 🌱💓 I noticed this little shoot pop up a couple weeks ago but since then it’s just looked the same. Is it a corm? It seems a little too hard to be a leaf. Thanks in advance 😊

It might be the beginning of a new stem from a corm. I have on in my regal shield right now that I wasn’t expecting
