# Not sure what to do with this arrowhead. Keep it in water or plant…

Not sure what to do with this arrowhead. Keep it in water or plant it? I’m just afraid that if I pot it it’ll die on me. Any tips?

these do really well in hydro/semi — i’d leave it! mine is in LECA

Mine do better in soil.  
\- Pick a pot at least an inch deeper than the glass to allow the roots to grow. The pot should be an inch or two wider.  
\- Use a well draining soil. Use a mix for bromeliads. A mix of Miracle Gro with lots of perlite will work.  
\- water after repotting. Water again when the soil dries down and the leaves are slightly limp.  
\- Fertilize with 50% diluted fertilizer every 2 weeks in warmer months. Superthrive plant vitamins can be added.  
\- Place in bright indirect light.

I’m in the process of moving all of mine to pon so far the ones in it now are happy .

I’ve moved all of mine to pon, leca, stratum or water and they have all been doing great
