I've never grown plants before and I could really use some advice or tips! (The glass pot is temporary at the moment) I’ve noticed some leaves dying but I’m not sure what I can do to help

What plant is this? Do you know?

It is a spearmint plant

you could have pests, or it could be sun damage. check leaves for any bugs or signs of pests. also check the roots for possible rot. does the pot it's currently in have drainage?

The pot currently doesn’t have any but it hasn’t been in this pot for that long. It did start wilting when I changed the soil perhaps there’s bugs in the soil?

it's just acclimating to the repot. make sure you get it into a pot with holes soon.
