One thing about those is dont overwater. Unless the soil is dry, don’t water before it gives you the notification :) I keep mine in a NW facing window and it loves it. Make sure not to put it in a frosted window- friend of mine nearly killed mine putting it in a frosted window. Used some that had been outside and all my repotted plants got a really bad infestation of gnats. Took weeks to get rid of them, and they’re still here. Hope that helps :) #### Lauren svarade den 2025-02-14 Thank you so much for the tips! I’ve always had succulents until about a month ago, so I’m expanding my plant babies a little lol. ### KJM kommenterade den 2025-02-14 All three of your new plants prefer to be a little on the dry side. Not like a cactus but still a little on the dry side. Keep the variegated pepperonia in bright indirect light. If the light is too low you can lose the variation. Mine is going to completely green. It's still pretty but not very verigated. The spider plant will tolerate a little lower light but prefers bright indirect light and it likes to be crowded in its pot so don't repot it for a while. A crowded plant will produce more abundant babies. ### KJM kommenterade den 2025-02-14 These plants will also require a little higher humidity than your cactus / succulent population. #### Lauren svarade den 2025-02-14 Thank you for the advance. Do you know if either of these plants are sensitive to what kind of water you use? #### KJM svarade den 2025-02-14 I use tap water on my pepperomia. Not sure about the others. I think all plants would do better with distilled or rain water if it's available. ### Dondoo52 kommenterade den 2025-02-14 Luckily you got three fairly easy plants. They are not too fussy. I used tap water that I let settle for 24 hours on these varieties and had no issues. I only water when dry and I mist about twice a week. #### Lauren svarade den 2025-02-14 Thank you!
