Hi! Just wondering about different plants and how root bound they like to be? Begonia (I have a ferox), and philos, and citrus trees? Typically I try to let my plants get root bound decently before up potting because I used to be a chronic overwaterer. I know I could look this up just wanted to see what peoples personal experiences were! These plants are in an east facing window but supplemented with a grow light.

Alot of people on here seem to be terrified of having root-bound plants, and blame it for all blemishes and dying leaves, but personally i dont care at all, i think its good for them! Im also the kind of person who cuts off roots like a madwoman and doesnt bother to untangle them before repotting, so maybe im biased.

Maybe its because i use moss as substrate, which is much airier than dirt so my roots dont suffocate. Maybe its because i only keep pothos and monsteras that love tight pots. Maybe its maybelline.
