# Help! I got my fiddle fig a few months ago and the leaves are…

Help! I got my fiddle fig a few months ago and the leaves are starting to turn brown and a few have fell off. I looked it up and it said it may be due to under watering so I’ve been giving her more water but I feel like that’s making matters worse. Any ideas? Also how often are you watering your fiddle fig?

To me this looks like root rot. Ficuses are notoriously difficult, and they tend to do better in a really chunky soil and to dry out between waterings
