Hi! I am trying to figure out if this new little shoot is a spider plant baby! I was under the assumption that the only babies they produced were on runners… but I’m not sure what else this could be. Help!

probably! there are nodes under the soil where the roots grow, so it's probably a runner from one of those.

this is a shoot preparing for a spider plant baby from my more mature plant i keep at my work!

it’s very easy to tell the difference once it grows a bit more
