Help my new plant leaf just turned yellow,I’m noticing tiny brown bugs n white ones .. first time I noticed I got dish soap n water with alcohol n sprayed wiped off leaves and threw it under a shower but then I think it got overwatered by doing that . This leaf is the only yellow one i was told to cut it off but how do I do that? Where do I cut from? I’m so new to this and my leaves to it has also been dripping a lot of water idk what’s going on. The bottom pic was a before pic showing the leaves before turning yellow

Cut that yellow leaf off at the very bottom. As far down as you can. Get some "Neem oil" for the pest and follow the directions. Do that every week until you don't see them. Also it would be a good idea to switch out the soil the pests could lay eggs in there. OR put it outside and get a new plant. (That's just my opinion with plants that have a pests 😅🙈🙈)

I treat all my leaf plants with neem spray. It works well for fungus and bugs.

Avoid spraying your plants with isopropyl alcohol. It’s harmful. Use neem oil or an insecticidal soap like Castile soap.

Was less frequently by checking the moisture level in the soil before watering. Constantly wet soil benefits fungus gnats, fungus and promotes bacterial growth after the roots rot. Treat the fungus gnats. 🪴🍀
