hey y’all! i recently got a begonia ‘geometry’ and would love some care tips from anyone who has one. i’ve only had her for about a week but i want her to thrive an eventually flower.

she’s currently in my office under a grow light for 12 hours a day, about 12 inches about her at 50% power. the temperature stays about 70°F but the humidity is around 40-45%.

i’m considering getting a small enclosure to increase humidity but im curious if anyone has grown theirs in normal indoor humidity. i’d love any recommendations (even for enclosures) and to hear from anyone who’s gotten theirs to flower. what humidity and lighting conditions have worked for you?

any advice or pictures would be appreciated!

Sorry no advice but I just wanted to say how cute and fuzzy it is! It looks so soft!

So pretty! I have mine in normal humidity, but they are small plants and definitely have not flowered yet, but I don’t think they will for a while until they grow a bit larger. However, they are doing really well in normal humidity. Now that the heat’s going to be on I may need to revise that statement. 🤷‍♀️Definitely thinking of moving a humidifier into the room where they live.
