kind of a random post but thoughts on this giant aloe? i do think i need to add more soil to the pot but i cannot figure out why the leaves are so droopy? i have only watered her twice since the beginning of november and i was watering about once a month in the warmer seasons. do the leaves just get so big they fall like this? also the leaves are firm and there is newer growth in the middle (but has slowed dramatically since i live in Pennsylvania and the sun hasn’t shined consistently in weeks)

i feel like the base looks rotted but it’s been this way since my bf almost killed it 2 years ago and it only gets repotted in July and at the time the roots looked great. i hate this plant but my bf loves it so i try to keep it happy but i don’t love the way it looks right now 😂

it probably should get a deeper pot

I’d say if the stems get too droopy get some kind of stick and wrap it around the stems just to help it a bit. Like this
