Here’s a shoot I sniped from my lucky bamboo. I was shocked to see the roots lol but I have the bigger one in water with glass pebbles.

What’s the secret to the bamboo? I can’t seem to make it past 4 years with one. Each time they start yellowing at the stalk. I remove the infected one but eventually it happens to all of them.

You have to make sure you’re feeding them as well as changing out the water using some pebbles or glass rocks always helps as long as you keep the roots submerged under the water they should live forever

I swear if that bamboo is still trapped in styrofoam and glued together rocks in that ceramic from the store.. ( this is your notice to rinse those roots off )

Also, I peaked at your bedroom site— maam, they need liquid fertilizer… turn those fertilizer cares on 🙏🏽

Trim your roots and only use distilled or rain water and change every 2 weeks. Very diluted fertilizer if at all. mine is over 6 years old and almost 2 ft tall
